ABOUT

I am a graphic designer and artist. Two years ago, I moved to Japan, where I live with my husband, Takanori, and our children, Asa and Atai.

As a graphic designer, I love working with people - accompanying them as they refine their vision and give form to their dreams. I listen to their rhythm, translate their stories into color and visual language, and find joy in creating designs that feel both emotional and clear.

ARTIST STATMENT

My work lives between playful naivety and deep emotional tension. Through recurring alter-egos, masked figures, and dreamlike female characters, I construct a personal world where every figure represents the self.
I move between clean, controlled lines and raw, abstract textures. Through this contrast, symbols like houses or animals appear, exploring the tension between our civilized outer world and our wild inner instincts.
The human body in my paintings is an elastic site of emotional translation. There is always a disruption—an anatomical distortion, an elongated limb, or an unexpected "punch"—that breaks the order and forces the viewer to decode the image. Through these forms, I capture the tension of a self that is trying to protect itself, while feeling trapped and wanting to break free.
